Budget woes may force Gwinnett to borrow $50 million
Gwinnett County's budget woes could force it to borrow as much as $50 million to stay in operation through the summer. It would mark the first time in 16 years the county has had to borrow operating money. "It's bleak," said Mike Comer, deputy county administrator. "At this rate, it's better than a 50-50 chance."
